“Art washes from the soul the dust of everyday life.”

About Shelley Sullivan:

My love for teaching and for art began as a young child.  I grew up leading my younger sisters through “school” as we played and imagined for hours. As a tween and teen, I could be found at my desk creating a unique masterpiece that I had dreamed up.

22 years ago, I started my career teaching 3rd-grade students. From there I became a stay-at-home mom to my three daughters but continued to teach in a variety of ways such as tutoring middle school and elementary students, teaching 3-year-olds in a mother's day out program, teaching art for 5 years to elementary and preschool students each week.  Currently, you'll find me teaching elementary grades at Linden Waldorf School in Nashville.

In 2014, I fulfilled a lifelong dream of starting a business as an art educator, and COLOR WHEELS was launched. My mobile art business allows me to meet some of the coolest, young, and youthful artists in Nashville, Franklin, Brentwood, and Hendersonville, TN. I look forward to meeting you soon!
